The beginning of the Pine Creek Rail-Trail on an overcast day. The first part of the trail is double wide, the right side used for horse drawn wagons. The underpass under Highway 6 is in the background. Novice biker in the foreground.

Pine Creek, from the trail.

A second biker.

Both cyclists on one of the bridges over a "run" feeding into Pine Creek. Most of the runs were dry at this time of the year. Note that the camera does just as well by itself, without an operator!

A little later in the morning it starts to clear up a bit. Pine creek, and Suzanne's attempt to get a picture of Rod's back as he takes pictures - too slow!

The same shot, without the foreground clutter.

The same shot, with the Kodak.

Typical shot of the trail over most of its length. This one was kept because it is "the eagle shot". As we were standing on the trail taking pictures, we heard a noise directly overhead, and about 10 feet over our head an eagle came out of the trees and flew over the path a bit and back into the trees. If you had a higher resolution picture (or really good imagination), you could see it right over the path flying away. All I can see is just a little white dot with a suggestion of wings to the sides.
