Growing disgusted with the wildlife and concerned with incoming severe
weather, we headed south through the rain to the small resort city
of South Haven on the western coastline of Michigan.
The sky was still threatening the first evening when we went down to the
harbor looking for dinner.
The next morning, the weather was much better, so we spent the morning
walking around, viewing the town, the harbor, the beach, and the South
Haven Harborfest which happened to be going on that weekend.
There were many interesting stores.
South Haven is on a river, so has its own harbor downtown.
Another view of the same lighthouse from a clean beach.
The river mouth, boat, ducks and, of course, the lighthouse.
