Early morning in the mist, looking downstream through the trees from the rim of the Genesse gorge.

Upriver toward the campground. The walls of the gorge are not as high or steep downstream (at the north end of the park).

Upriver toward the railroad bridge at the south end of the park.

Lots of hawks riding thermals next to the western edge of the gorge. I counted 20 in my field of view at one time, but this is a better picture with the gorge wall as a backdrop.

Looking downstream along the gorge. Roughly the same spot as the previous picture, but looking down the center of the river valley. If you look closely, you can spot one of the hawks.
