These are selected photos from the convention in Dallas. Commentary by Rod, presented without official NAWBO Immediate Past Presidential approval.

The convention was in the Wyndham Anatole in Dallas, an edifice taking up approximately a city block (ie big). It was in between the real downtown area and the airport, so had a good view of the downtown skyline.

As NAWBO President, Suzanne and her entourage (Rod) were installed in the President Ford Suite, a somewhat upscale accomodation from Rod's usual Motel 6 room. This is a shot of part of the living room where the board met one evening for dinner. Note that you can't see the dining table or other tables from this vantage point at approximately the middle of the room.

The Presidential Suite needs a presidential desk, and here we see the President at work at it. Boxes in foreground are gifts for the outgoing NAWBO board. Suzanne designed a unique scarf using the NAWBO logo and had it produced in silk and shipped to NJ just in time to load the car and take off for Dallas.

Part of the duty of the outgoing President is to train the incoming President in the essential tools necessary for a successful presidency. Here at the bar in the suite, Suzanne shows Beverly what she will need to survive her next year.

Due to construction, the whole incoming/outgoing Presidential crew was moved from one suite to another for the last night of our stay. Here we see the new NAWBO board posing in the living room of the new suite.
