We allowed an extra half day on the way down and used it to hike in
the Shenandoah National Park off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The views from the Parkway were pretty much the same, but its clear why
the name "Blue Ridge".
The trail was officially named "Doyles Falls Trail", so we hiked down from
the ridge until we saw a water fall.
Rod was not impressed (by the falls).
We pressed on and found a second set, this time with a sign indicating that
we had at last reached our goal.
